On September 25, SIT’s Commencement Fall 2025 was held on its Toyosu Campus and broadcast live to all concerned. During the Degree Conferment Ceremony, degrees were conferred upon 8 doctoral candidates, 3 doctoral candidates by thesis, 22 master's candidates, and 39 undergraduate students. Additionally, the Shiro Arimoto Memorial Award and the President's Award (Global) were presented. The subsequent Entrance Ceremony welcomed 15 doctoral students, 31 master's students, and 12 undergraduate students, including international students.

In his address, President Jun Yamada emphasized that navigating the uncertain VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) era requires “cross-cultural agility”—the ability to respond swiftly and flexibly to differences in people's perspectives and values stemming from nationality, history, and other factors. He urged students to leverage the skills cultivated through study abroad experiences to adapt flexibly to AI, a new “cross-cultural” challenge, and forge their futures.

In his congratulatory address, Chairman Takeo Suzumi reflected on the university's journey as it approaches its 100th anniversary, emphasizing that the efforts and challenges undertaken during student life shape one's future. He encouraged students to hone their ability to confront adversity, to continue learning with humility and gratitude, and to keep in mind the support of their families, making their time at Shibaura Institute of Technology truly fruitful.
